Steve of ICD told me some time ago that I was mistaken in my belief that the Cosmos was a new program (It is the same as the GK2100). So I was wondering if it is a fact that it is the same program does that mean that it has the GK2100's USCF 2100 rating? Playing against the Cosmos I know that it has some refinements in it's opening book rather than a complete overhaul. I do not understand why people would say that the Cosmos is USCF 2200 given the rating of the GK2100 which is USCF2100. Maybe some knowledgeable person can shed some light on why the Cosmos is said to be rated 2200?
