I suggest that you remove 4 vs 1 tablebases because they are probably the reason that fruit can find the mate fast. Note that fruit cannot find the mate fast with the tablebases that I have. I also suggest that you do not wait until fruit finds mate but restart the analysis after 10 or 20 seconds. I can reproduce the problem with these conditions. If it does not help I can give you exact details of the tablebases that are installed on my hardware. Note that chess programs should work also with part of the tablebases so even if the problem happens only when part of the tablebases are installed it is still a bug. Uri
