My computer is Intel Pentium3 1GHz, 256MB, OS is XP pro.
I used default hash table size.
I used Visual Studio 6.0 to compile.
I added 2 lines to the top of chess.h.

#define NOEGTB
And I inserted

at line number 674 in utility.c of Crafty 20.1.
That is all I changed to your source code.
I started from initial chess position.
I can send you exe file and source code if you can not see problem.
