Hello,

>>How good is the Endgame tool from Shredder Called Freezer $80.00

as I'm too biased, I will leave that question for someone else to answer ;-)

>And what is the difference with the end game tablebases ?

With Freezer you can build you own tablebases, but not covering a whole endgame
like KRP-KBP in total, but just tailored down for your needs.

For example, if you have blocked pawns, there are many positions that will never
arise from the position you look at, and you can leave them behind, not blowing
up your database.

It is especially well suited for blocked positions, but might be useful for
other situations as well.

On http://www.freezerchess.com/index.php?topic=examples are some examples, the
top two in a video-like manner.

Just recently we examined this position (ok, this one is not so relevant for
OTB-play)

[D] 8/2Q5/8/8/1k1p4/4p1p1/3prpp1/3Kbbrn w - - 0 1

And found the winning line in only a couple of seconds.
