I like independent tests like yours. Of course we're all waiting for the next SSDF list, but in the meantime we have some good clues. It looks like Fruit is a serious competitor with Shredder for the top spot. I don't think there is much difference Elo-wise between them, but time will tell. I like Fruit's playing style: aggressive, takes risks, accepts tactical complications, goes for kingside attacks, good native endgame play, etc. WP
