I found this website during a search for the old Tandy 1850 which I foolishly gave away years ago. http://www.xs4all.nl/~tluif/chescom/Engindex.html I much prefer playing dedicated machines. No sore eyes from staring at a acreen and I also think they can play more like a human than do the PC based programs due to their slower speed. PC software is too strong. The attempts to make it play at different levels are not that impressive. Chess Master 8000 at lower levels makes some stupid blunders that no one would make then plays like a Master for short spells. Give me an old dedicated model any day.
