I should >probably give up on the real Avant Garde board, too, since I never even see one >for sell period, and just go ahead and submit my A/S board for upgrading. well actually EAG'S do show up on Ebay every now and again but when they do Collectors bang each other over the head for it (see my post on ..Collector's Walk Alone) :)) but now if one does show up i cant tell you about it because you will send it in to be modified cant have that done to a beautiful EAG! :)) >Personally, I think I like the Avant Garde board best, even better than the >Mephisto Munchen board (which is available and of which I have one). you know i agree with this 100% i love the EAG boards and i know the Collector's in Europe go wild over them many German collectors have told me they think the Mephisto wooden boards are too square looking and uninteresting while the Fidelity EAG's are smooth and more cosmetically appealing for me ..the Fidelity Elite Premiere(also in a EAG housing)is one of the finest chess computers ever made and certainly would be in the top 5 of my entire collection V50 Regards Steve
