I admit I was a bit skeptical, whether Jeroen could have made enough of a new opening book suited for Fruit in such a short time, as after all Fruit 2.2 is only there since the WK in Reykjavik. Fruit is probably more like Chess Tiger than like Rebel? Actually I think the fastest way to get better results would probably to also experiment with the playing style of Fruit in the opening/early middle game (maybe for specific openings) rather than just weed out openings that it does not yet play well or needs some added lines to react well in. Even King Safety from 100 to 160, as an extreme example, I think could work in the early middlegame, or maybe some experiments with mobility (and center control) that is not yet a user-parameter in Fruit. Some extra time after leaving the book is sometimes a help. But it is certainly a good challenge for Jeroen and Fabien too and it is nice to see them working together! Groeten allemaal, Eelco
