Why are we taking such a tournament over
some (much too less) rounds so seriously.
It's well known to the experts that win/loss
between top engines depend very much on the
opening books used and in such short tournaments
the goodness of books play a more important
rule than the real playing strength of engines
which are more or less equal. In this sense, the
Dutch Open is just fun for me and despite Fruit's
final result, we all know for sure that this
engine belongs to the absolute top.
