Hi Chuck i know you mean to say Resurrection where you wrote Renaissance so i will substitute accordingly :)) > >OK, now that I've vented, I'll offer my unrealistic wish list of top 5 computers >that I don't have: > >1. Resurrection >2. Fidelity Elite Premiere >3. Fidelity Elite Avant Garde V6, V9, or V10 (which I wouldn't modify) :) >4. TASC R40 (or R30 - but I guess I'll never get past all the scam auctions) >5. Mephisto Genius 68030 >6. Mephisto Risc 1 or 2 (OK, I couldn't stop!) certainly a fine list and one which shows you know a great deal about the high-end dedicated units but you know Chuck ,strength is not the only thing that draws me and many collectors to these old computers the .info boys are for the most part not collectors of the old computers, but rather Enthusiasts who concentrate mainly on the higher rated computers and do test and play matches on Kurts site there is not this concentration on strength and Elo but more of a "walk down memory" lane feel to the place i am sure you know the url for it while strength is of course important ,for me personally it is not the most important thing.it is only a sub-set of collecting hunting for fine old computer's ,trading with friends, or playing an old Fidelity Elite Champion are other aspects of the collecting hobby for example if i had to give up all of my comuters but keep one..i would keep the Novag Robot and it only plays 1400 Elo Best Regards Steve
