Your assumption of the strongest program in the world has no basis and nobody except you assume that fruit with one processor is stronger than zappa with 4 processors. remember that Fruit2.2.1 lost only against programs with hardware advantage. in the premier division of leo fruit has 43.5/64<70% In CEGT fruit got 68.3% The result of 6.5/9 was a big success of fruit if we assume all programmers are equal in book preperation. I guess you expect too much from the fruit team in terms of book preperation if you cannot say that the result of fruit is good. Note that the fact that fruit2.2.1 beated Deep gandalf was a significant success of the tournament because fruit could not win against an older version of gandalf in WBEC and got only 4 draws. Uri
