Rxh7 DOES look (to the human chess eye), to stand to good reason, if you just see the placement of things. Just by looking at the placement of things, without much depth of plies, one can see that white probably has a sound winning combination which is indefensible. The Black Queen can come back in one move, but that is probably not enough. So the Black position is proibably a losing one even withOUT Rxh7 by white. I personally would spend as much time as possible in a game, thinking of Rxh7, rather than imagining I might have some "safer" alternatives, if in time pressure. S.Taylor
