I just stated cloning an engine is better than creating a new chessmaster or Fruit Personality as it gives one more authority and more attention to testers. Okay tell me how much elo advantage do you expect this gambit fruit over Toga or Fruit 2.1? >This is right, clones can not play in events. Maybe I just do not understand the last part of your >post. That means Fabien would earn more popularity on open source than many open source programmers who release their engine under some other license. It's good idea for Fabien to release it as GPL,wouldn't you say? :)
