Depends on what "accomodate" means. If it runs in separate threads, you should get about double the performance of a single processor. That's what SMP is all about. The fact that it ends at two CPU's makes me very suspicious of the implementation. If it were a proper SMP implementation, it should scale to any number. So maybe (for instance) it will run positional evaluation in one thread and tactical in another. If that is the case, then you would have to test and see how much stronger it really is. I have not tried it, so I don't know. I don't own any copy of Fritz.
