I know there are programs to make disk images for the C64 emulators. But right
off hand I don't know anything about them. A google for c64 disk image &
commodore 64 disk image turns up a few emulator pages and such that briefly
mention it, but I didn't go into much. I suspect that to find out what really
works, you'd actually have to try some of those things.

And, of course, that assumes you actually have a 5.25" floppy.... Not too many
people do anymore!

I haven't used a c64 since, oh, 84 or so, but if I remember right, the floppies
used a variable number of sectors that the PC floppy controller doesn't like.

As for a scan of the manual, yes, I'd like to have that too. It's part of his
program, so it might as well be included.

It'd probably be better to send it to our gmail address. It should be more
reliable than my ISP address.

(Yes, I know... it's not very descriptive for the project. But I already had
it, and I didn't feel like giving gmail my cell phone number to get another
one.)
