Such things happen - even between two very
strong engines. In our 40'/40 test, Fruit
2.2.1 started with 8,0-2,0 vs Fritz 9 just
to lose the next 10 games by 3,0-7,0. After
50 games, the standing was almost equal

whereas in my Nunn2 test, Fruit 2.2.1 vs
Fritz 9 got only 2,0-8,0 in the first 10
games -:)
