After a lot of searching, I believe I have found the patent for the Novag Robot Adversary. The patent was filed in 1981 by California R & D Center and the patent is for "Robot computer chess game". I've only had a chance to briefly go through it but interestingly the patent makes reference to both the Turk and the Boris Handroid. By the way, I deseperately want a working Adversary and I'm willing to pay through the nose for one. If you have one you would like to sell, please email me. Here is the link to the patent: http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO2&Sect2=HITOFF&p=1&u=/netahtml/search-bool.html&r=47&f=G&l=50&co1=AND&d=ptxt&s1=chess&s2=robot&OS=chess+AND+robot&RS=chess+AND+robot I've been searching for the patent for the Milton Bradley Grandmaster too, but so far no luck on that one. I'll let you know if I do find it. Steve, how does the finished product compare with the patent? Robot crazed regards, Michael
