Ebay is of course not a possibility you yourself said that Ebay is nothing more then a cess pool of rouges and thieves if you try to sell you will not be paid and if you are paid they will complain the chess set is damamged even one sale will carry with it 114 emails lasting for one year as i am a much younger man then the one described in your post(i will soon turn 28) i can understand your dilemma for my opinion..you should give this cherished artifact to a younger man (someone my age) because if you give it to this older man ,he will soon die and his wife will only sell it after his death for $15 in a garage sale in the front lawn of the home My Wise Thoughts Regards Steve it is better to
