Hi all, Shep's Computer Chess Site has been updated with the full results of the Supercup '99 (60/game on two 233 MHz machines, 128 MB). MChess 7 has won this tourney with an impressive performance in the knockout rounds, including a few really brilliant moves. PGN and CBV files are available at SCCS. Meanwhile, the Masters '99 (40/40 on two 233 Mhz machines, 128 MB) has just finished its first round. Hiarcs 4 pulled off the only surprise by eliminating Chessmaster 6000. With Chess Tiger 11.4 and MChess 7, the Supercup finalists are also already out of the competition. The best 2 not already qualified programs will gain a slot in the Shep Championship 99 later this summer. Check out all details at http://come.to/SCCS http://sccs.8m.com One small side note: SCCS may not be updated during April, but I hope to get back to the good old "every other day" update schedule in May. --- Shep <shep@gmx.net>
