It seems to me that Bruce meant exactly what he said, though I doubt that Bruce
gives the issue enough weight to call the local psychiatric ward for Mark. :)
But, I realize you made this comment in jest.

There has been a reasonably large amount of posting about this issue, and
probably the major effect of it all has been to advertise the Chess4You chess
server.  The upshot of the discussion is that some small issue got blown
completely out of proportion.  It certainly hasn't convinced me that Chess4You
is a bad place to play human or computer chess.
