There has been a reasonably large amount of posting about this issue, and probably the major effect of it all has been to advertise the Chess4You chess server. The upshot of the discussion is that some small issue got blown completely out of proportion. It certainly hasn't convinced me that Chess4You is a bad place to play human or computer chess.
