Taking profit of Fruit Trial, I have been playing a game at my customary 40/1 hour rythm and my sensation has been to this moment -move 30, equal position, drawish game- the same that I already had with free Fruit 2.1. Being, as it is, a very strong program, it does not spell "timor et Tremor". It is, Fruit, a kind of quiet force that does not push againts the ropes as other programs do, perhaps not that strong but lot more enterprising and agressive. Chess is, after all, fight. The fun and kick of it is the meleè that comes from a fight. It is not a mere calculation game. So till now I get more fun from old CSTAL than from Fruit. Fruits is lot stronger, I know, but I do not feel with Fruit, even If I lose to it, that sensation in the middle of the game of being under inminent danger but at the same time with some chances to appear any moment and just waiting you will be capabke of taking them. To play Fruit is like to die in bed of a cold instead of being killed in the middle of a hot gunfight. Give me the gunfight of a good dedicated unit all the time. Cough Regards Fernando
