Hi Uri,

19... a3? is a very bad move, as it closes all files after 20.b3. Now Black has
absolutely no counterplay at all and there is a nice square on c4 for the White
knight. So I played a game from the position after 19... a3? 20.b3:

Fruit - Fritz 9
---------------
19.Kb1! a3? 20.b3 now the game continued: 20... Rfc8 (Fritz' score is +0,58 in
White's favour) 21.h4 Ra5 22.Rg2 Kh8 A clear sign something is wrong, Fritz
doesn't know what to do. 23.c4 bxc3 24.Rc2 Qb7 25.Rxc3 f5 26.Rxc8+ Qxc8 27.Nd2
f4 28.Nc4 Ra8 29.Bc1 Simply winning the pawn on a3. Black is busted. Some more
moves: 29... Qa6 30.Nxa3 Qb7 31.Nc4 Nb6 32.Nxb6 Qxb6 33.Rd2! and with a pawn
down, no counterplay, a passive bishop on e7 Fritz is going to lose.

All is pretty straightforward and it is my firm believe that after 19.Kb1! the
majority of the comp-comp games will end 1-0.
