It's about 1 meg. That will upgrade you to version 1.0.3. DO NOT get this patch if you have purchased an international version (i.e. not in the United States). That may solve your problem. Another question: Which sound card do you have? MSS32.DLL is the Miles Sound System library, so perhaps it's having trouble initializing? (just a guess) jm
