I tested Fruit in ChessPartner and that worked well, Shredder Classic and Chessbase should also work. I´ve just found a simple trick to run the Fruit 2.2.1 trial version under Arena: Don´t use directly the ´Fruit2.2.1.exe´ but start Fruit by a batch-file! So the steps are: 1) create a batch-file (e.g. ´Fruit221.bat´) in the Fruit folder with the following content (only the FULL name of the Fruit-EXE): Fruit2.2.1.exe 2) now create a new UCI-engine under Arena: when being asked for the engine file, go to the Fruit folder and select the file ´Fruit221.bat´ instead of the EXE-file (or enter it manually). That´s all - works perfectly ... :-) Regards, Franz.
