If I am correct, then extending the path is a bad idea (for system performance reasons). My guess is that the DLL is not registered. How does one register a DLL under Win9x? I'm not sure... I use NT, where "regsvr32 MSS32.DLL" would do the trick. If, however, the problem _is_ that the dll isn't in the path, then copying the dll to the windows directory (e.g. "cp MSS32.DLL C:\WINDOWS") should do the trick. This is still terribly gross though: there must be a better solution. Dave Gomboc
