I think These ratings are formed by games from Man Vs Man performance. You really cannot use these numbers to compare with Chess Prgrams strength. As Uri Blass mentioned somewhere in the thread that FIDE should put computers in the rating system as well. I agree. One interesting thing to note is that if humans were to search millions of positions per sec computers would be thrased and utterly humiliated in the worst way possible. And yet still even with this big advantage computers have tough time beating the Very Top GM's. Humans just doesnt prepare to fight against computers remember that Old Rebel 10 also beat Anand. And right now he is like 2800 Perf.
