I have Palm and PPC and can't decide between them so I've kept both. Today I did a test on my Toshiba e400. Running Genius in analysis mode and with screen-light on (lowest setting) starting at only 52% battery after just over three hours it was down to 4% but still working away. With flash-memory and memory cards you won't be losing any data in a hurry. If you like to carry databases around PPC is better but the Palm has a lot to commend it. I have well over 600 games on my Palm Tungsten mostly from my club mates and friends. Strength-wise they will trounce any portable dedicated unit. Good luck. Ray.
