That CB statement is ridiculous. As you can see from the analysis I posted on the previous thread, Hiarcs 9.6 evaluates Qxg3 and Bc2 with a difference of +3 after 10min search on a terribly old 400 Mhz computer. Furthermore it doesn't explain why other users Fritz 9 seems to stick Qxg3. - Andy ------- snip Hiarcs 9.6 UCI (400Mhz) 6 -2.27 Qxg3+ Kxg3 f5 Bd1 f4+ Kg4 f3 Kxg5 (1.38) 6 -2.40 Qxg3+ Kxg3 f5 h4 f4+ Kg4 f3 (1.75) 7 -2.49 Qxg3+ Kxg3 f5 Rg1 Bc4 Bd1 Rxe3+ Kf2 f4 Rxg5+ Kh7 (2.85) 8 -2.30 Qxg3+ Kxg3 f5 Rg1 f4+ Kf2 fxe3+ Kxe3 Bc4+ Kd2 Rd3+ Kc2 Bxb3+ Nxb3 Kh7 Rxg5 Rxh3 (4.44) 9 -2.30 Qxg3+ Kxg3 f5 Rg1 Bc4 Bxc4 dxc4 Kh2 Rxe3 Rxg5+ Kh7 Rxf5 Rd3 b5 (8.97) 10 -2.55 Qxg3+ Kxg3 f5 Kf2 f4 Rg1 fxe3+ Kxe3 Bc4+ Kd2 Rd3+ Kc2 Bxb3+ Nxb3 Rxh3 Rxg5+ Kf7 Nc1 Rh2+ (22.77) 11 -2.87 Qxg3+ (38.99) 11 -3.32 Qxg3+ Kxg3 f5 Rg1 f4+ Kh2 fxe3 Rxg5+ Kh7 h4 e2 Rh5+ Kg7 Rg5+ Kh6 Rg1 Kh5 Re1 Kxh4 (56.92) 12 -3.34 Qxg3+ Kxg3 f5 Rg1 f4+ Kf2 fxe3+ Kxe3 Bc4+ Kd2 Rd3+ Kc2 Bxb3+ Nxb3 Nxa4 Rxg5+ Kf7 Nc1 Rxd4 Ne2 Rxb4 (209.53) 13 -3.27 Qxg3+ Kxg3 f5 Rg1 f4+ Kf2 fxe3+ Kxe3 Bc4+ Kd2 Rd3+ Kc2 Bxb3+ Nxb3 Nxa4 Rxg5+ Kh7 Nc1 Rxd4 Ne2 Rd3 (503.89) After 39. ...
