Uri,
I mean that GMs are more and more difficult to beat computers, therefore they
may be unwillingly to face computer for fear of the delination of their
reputation. Thus the sponsor has to raise the money to attract high rating GMs.
It is not easy to find such sponsors, though. And such situation made things
difficult. However, I agree with you concerning the importance of money. Even
Kasparov would take back his claim and play computer once more if there was
enough money! I was so idealistic that I often overlook the money factor.
