It is not a matter of the dead horse (btw Knight is more correct), but of the
dead bishop.  The big mistake is to exchange a bishop (black B) which was
protecting the a pawn and hindering a pawn advance by white.  So there are other
possibilities besides .. QxQ in the position I gave above.

My F9 (9.0.0.0) stays with .. Nc4 too for two long sequences over many ply.
Your statement implies that your F9 does not.

Could you be so kind as to give the version number of your fritz9.eng, and if it
too is 9.0.0.0, then the CRC32?
