Hi Uri, I'm not a lawyer but I think if you can come out with original code then everything will be ok, assuming the underlying algorithms (e.g. compression) are not patented. But to redistribute Nalimov code or use it in a product you have to agree with the terms of its license. If you don't and still use the code then you are probably doing something illegal.
