this is what makes the Novag Robot Adversary so rare..every so often you do see offers for them but the fact is that it is very hard to find one in working condition today here is another auction for a defective Robot the seller says its only a problem with one of the squares not registering a piece(reed switch problem) and that the arm is working perfectly how exactly the seller can determine if the arm works perfectly is a bit confusing to me because with the "piece discrepancy" light on(because one of the squares in not registering) then the full movement of the arm as it goes through a complete game can not be seen.. but perhaps if the seller manages to avoid this square a full game can be played out another interesting point is that one of the top bidders(as i write this) was the winning bidder of a Robot that sold on Ebay for $4200..this was the highest price ever paid for a dedicated chess computer on Ebay no feedback was ever left on that auction and i know that robot turned out to also be defective http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8727874893 I Robot Regards Steve
