Where is the cutoff ? Hello, Where did you see this in Grahams or Kurts post? Both posters messages never contain any info about strength regarding Humans. May be you, like some others, took the EloStat numbers as an indication for something? This is not true of course, because every EloStat user just sets an average 'Elo' (wrong term anyway, better calling it 'rating', as Elo is exclusively used for Human tournaments by the FIDE or its rival organisation), which he likes the best. Well the lower performing engines at WBEC would lose without any chance against GMs because they are really rated below 1400 ;) If you mean only the engines at Leos Premier League, where currently Tao is last, the answer is we cannot know. IMHO it can beat a GM, but no one knows how often, if you ask for a percentage number. Guenther
