Since they are sharing a book if you don't put them in two different folders with duplicate books, the updates done during learning can corrupt the book, since it would be possible for both to try to do a "learn update" at exactly the same time. This has happened in the past although it is not frequent... You can either add learn=0 to turn learning off, so that sharing a book is OK, or you can do as you mentioned and use two folders and two copies of book.bin/books.bin/bookc.bin The latter is the way I test...
