You might have asked yourself those ignorant questions before stating Ponomariov was clearly uninterested in playing chess. He played a 153 moves game. As soon as Junior played f4 he started to regroup his pieces and went for the g5 break. Why did he not continue to shuffle pieces for another 50 moves? During his third game, he was clearly uninterested in playing chess. In the game against Hydra he played some different kind of game. I´m not sure what it was. Anti-Chess with zero chances of sucess maybe? Michael > /S
