Subject: Collector's Corner..The Robot Diaries..

Author: Steve B

Date: 03:30:16 11/26/05

As some members who read these pages already know ,during Thanksgiving
festivities my Novag Robot ceased operating

the circumstances surrounding this tragedy have already been posted in an
earlier thread

(My Cousin still refuses to cough up the $4200 so he has yet to see his kids..
but i am allowing them to pass him notes through me)

the Robot exhibits the same symptoms described in the manual when the adaptor
becomes defective
the adaptor is a monster ,requiring 120VAC with 2.5 A..very high power
requirements

a member here was good enough to help me find a company that will rush me a
replacement adaptor but i will not be receiving it until Monday

until then i can only look upon its face ..sitting there..pieces all in their
starting positions..frozen in place..like the great Redwood trees of Northern
California inhabiting the petrified forest

these photos were taken just now.. deep in the underground bunkers
a dark, cold place ...where i keep many of my computers...

i warn you though..these sight are not for the squeemish or faint of heart

i think perhaps its better to have no Robot at all..then to have one sitting
there..looking at me..in this reduced state

To Be Continued Regards
Steve
