For the record it wasn't so much what Mr.Steen said in his topics, but rather the way he tried to belittle and insult everyone he could in _every_ thread he entered. He was even warned twice to stop. He was not censored nor was anyone for that matter. Reading through his posts and removing the randomly inserted insults, the man had quite a bit to say even if he was wrong... but that is fine. He could have learned something and maybe taught something to someone in due course. The problem was the insults and just flagrant abuse of the rules. Other people were warned as well through the numerous threads that he started for the same reasons. Instead of attacking one's ideas, _everyone_ turned to attacking each other, and in _every_ instance we as a team (moderation) removed the posts. There were some people that took the high road and used the moderator email form (which I was very happy to see) and helped end some threads that were getting out of control. Some didn't.. and well.. they got upset when the thread was removed and their posts were gone. Mr.Steen will be back.. trust me. I hope he comes back and learns from his previous errors here, because I feel he certainly can add some insight on a few ideas, or "stir the pot" in a positive way. If he comes back with the same attitude and brash nature then he will be leaving again, but for a longer period. Some of the threads got heated but no one attacked each other. This was great to see... a heated debate is something I love to read on here. I look forward to them and unfortunately they do not happen as frequently as they used to here. People like Mr. Steen come and go, but usually in their wake there is a new thought pattern, or a new idea generated. Why it has to come such a fury and everyone gets tired up in knots is beyond me..
