jan louwmann had to play many games in few days to find out about the strength.

i think i remember they said about 400 games. you cannot play them if you have
only 1 module !

jan louwmann was very deep inside the H+G company.

its very possible that they made for him a few modules for testing purposes.

this module is IMO no commercial module.

when louwman died, it could be that part of his dedicated collection came under
the people. or it can also be that these H+G prototypes came to public when H+G
went bancrott.

the module looks very hardware similar to the B+P.

but it IS no b+p. it seems the eproms have been exchanged.

the B+P had something, when you have not ALL pieces on board of the
modular-/exclusive- board, than ALL leds were flashing. this looked like the
lights on an airport.
i guess this was copied from the Conchess/princhess machines.

the other STANDARD H+G modules only let the LED NEXT to the piece light up.

look. there WAS no other official commercial module.

the roma was 68000.
the polgar /mm4/mm5 were different.
the mephisto III had 1806.

there was no other official 6502 module.

it can IMO only be rebel5 prototypes.

i remember that the testing done by louwmann was NOT done with 5 mhz and that he
said that "for the customer even 5mhz will be available".

this sentence should show that the OFFICIAL module has more strength because it
is not running on his slower testing machines, but on faster ones.

we never understood how louwmann could have played so many games in such a short
time. its very obvious that with more then one module, it could be possible.
