The German one has only one eprom. > >Erik a) we have both prototypes, the 1985 weak one with 4 KByte + the 1986 with 8Kbyte b) it makes no difference to use 2 x 16 or 1 x 32. louwmann claims in his article that the hardware CPU and EPROMS could be exchanged. when i watch the photographs it seems he said the truth. louwmann also claimed that the modules give brute force AND selective search search depth information. and he also claims the module would show MATERIAL and POSITIONAL evaluation. can you look out if the module shows 2 evaluations ?! but maybe he meant 4.36 = 4 material + 0.36 positional. whatever. louwmann also claims that you can input the moves via keys. this is important if you want to use the modules in MOBILE unit. louwmann claims 17 levels !!
