So you will never see DEEP BLUE again! Deep Blue, or more likely 'Baby Blue' could easily be reassembled. I mean Baby Blue, which I think is basically just a work station with a single board containing four of the special purpose chess chips, would be trivial for them to put together. It would still contain a MASSIVE amount of chess horsepower. I guess the reason they aren't showing up is that IBM doesn't want to risk any negative publicity (like last time when they lost to Fritz). > >What interests me: where did you get the participants list from?
