Well, that is interesting, isn't it? There are some other programs that use multiple processors (Crafty, SOS, ...), but after DeepBlue there are only few supercomputer-projects left. Why? IMHO the current situation is still interesting, because the DB-project stopped although the Kasparov-DB match prooved (IMO) that DB is *not* significantly stronger than Kasparov. Therefore I'd like to see some successor to DB - as a research-project or sponsored by a company. Frank
