Hi Tim, The games are completed (there is chess programs that can solve the Numeric Notation vs. Algebraic during game play I think!? Or at least Filemate can produce Numeric out of Algebraic). The problem is that ICCF receives a lot of score sheets on the format 1. 5254 5755 2. 7163 7866 and so on. Now ICCF wants to make all cc games available on a standard format (pgn or whatever). And it's here the problems begin. For your questions: I think it will be enough if you can translate 1. 5254 5755 2. 7163 7866 into 1. e2e4 e7e5 2. g1f3 g8f6. If I remember things right at least KenChess 1.2 (freeware) and ChessPad (the free Winboard Chess Game Viewer _not_ the Dutch freeware chess database) will do the trick to convert this format into PGN. Promotion is written like 1718=Q, 1728=B and so on. Robert March 22, 1999 at 14:53:42, Tim Mirabile wrote: >I'm still not sure exactly what you are trying to do.
