Someone may have yelled something at him just as he was starting, his cat may have jumped on the keyboard, etc., etc., etc. If you are responding to one of his seeks, he may not notice it right away, despite the "fight bell" sound effect in Blitzin. If you observe him over a series of games, and this happens every time, then you may well be right. B) Again, I hope you don't make such a judgement without observing a series of games. Some players know a few lines very deeply. If he shows an equal depth of knowledge in every opening that is thrown at him, then you are probably correct. C) This sounds very plausible.
