I would like to thank all the members for their support for the IRC Computer Chess Club Chat Room. This chat forum started with a great bang when on the first night we had two members present. Then on the 2nd night things were even better when we had a total of 4 members (to this day remains the record for IRC CCC chat room). Things were looking up, for about two weeks we have on average 3 people in this chat room, Myself, Didzis and my fiancee on her home computer. We did participate in computer chess chat, but mainly the guys were more interested in chatting up my lady (only Joking) But with all great things, there must be an end. And when there is no channel activity for 4 weeks the IRC server kills off the chat room. So it was with no surprise that no one came to visit this room for the past 8 weeks. And thus when I went to visit my own friend IRC chat room, I found that it had been closed and the IRC bot which I put to welcome fellow members had passed away without a sound. It was a very sad moment to this it go. So I would like to once again thanks all members who tried their best to come and visit but just had other things to do, including myself :-) I would hope that you would now take a moment and remember our great welcoming chat bot which welcomed everyone who entered the chat room and hope he is somewhere up there looking down upon us and smiling.
