I’ve been following computer chess for well over 20 years and have not seen anything remotely like the last several months with the quick release in succession of powerful new engines, each (seemingly) better than its predecessor by several orders of magnitude - Fruit, Toga II, Rybka, and none of them by the usual suspects, and that’s not to mention Gambit Fruit and the still unreleased Zappa. Wow!! Christopher
