All of the column headers need to be defined & explained in plain English words which we can all understand. If they don't want to do this on the same webpage, then they should include some footnotes and/or links to the webpages which have the explanations. Several other questions arise too... It's the Rybka 64 bit version, so is it being run on 64 bit or 32 bit computers? Why aren't they testing the 32 bit version? What opening books are being used? Exactly how can we fairly compare all of these different engines run on different kinds of computers - some dual processors, some 32 bit, some 64 bit, etc.? Also Rybka is still a beta. When it's formally released as a full version (not a beta) and retested then we will know better how it stands. Certainly it looks promising at this point. I'm trying to test it privately too. It's a big task trying to assimilate all the new top chess engine titles and versions in the last 1-2 months. If they release a commercial version of Rybka soon, as has been mentioned, how can I justify buying another engine so soon? I just bought Fruit 2.2.1 recently which apparently only lasted about one month at the top of the heap. Perhaps another engine will dethrone Rybka a month from now. So I'm astounded at recent developments but also perplexed how they relate to me!? WP
