Hi. The above is from one of Uri,s post; "It seems that Rybka does not care if it mates in 1 mates in 2 or mates in more moves" --------------------------------------------------------- snip ----------------------- And from a post by George; "Because i still maintain after watching most of these games that Rybka has some serious late middle game and end game problems that must be attended to" --------------------------------------------------- snip ----------------------------- And from Sarah; "There are many positions like this where sometimes Rybka even fails and settles on a draw in a won position, also many where it seems it plays on and on and eventually wins even with large material advantages such as this" ---------------------------------------------- snip ---------------------------------- I have also observed this "behavior" in its play. In at least one game, it lost a half point due to the 50 move rule after playing back and front in a won position. It is just like when you are playing with a kid, you don´t care if you loose or win. For me this behavior or bug is just funny and makes it even more interesting. Anyway you don´t have to care if you are stronger than the rest. Ómar
