As far as I know, if your operating system (windows) is not 64 bit version,
there will be no difference. I have also heard that the 64 bit version of
windows is a bit unstable, so maybe research this issue before deciding to
upgrade your windows system. Hopefully Windows Vista will not be unstable :-)

Your processor is 64 bit AFAIK, so it should be able to take advantage of a 64
bit system.
