Analysis of Playchess.com engine games collected on Dec 6 Playchess has a formula that separates Blitz(short) from Rapid(long) games. I am not sure of the details, but the minimum time control for a Rapid(long) game is 16min + 0. I used Chessbase 9 to make these statistics. It took some time partly because engine names are listed as the first name in the database. A human game would appear as Kasparov,Gary while an engine game might be Erdo,Shredder 9. The stats below all come from Dec 6. Games where the same engine played itself are excluded. Rybka - 3116 total games Blitz +1411 =743 -652 63.5% Rapid +133 =97 -80 58.5% Shredder - 1545 total games Blitz +469 =361 -547 47.2% Rapid +46 =46 -76 41.1% Fruit - 994 total games Blitz +268 =271 -351 45.3% Rapid +41 =38 -25 57.7%
