1.Yes it will (I hope in December already).
2.No (the latest changes were about year ago).

MES suite will consist of 12 parts:

The suite itself, divide into parts:
mes1-81.EPD - pawns only(P)
mes-242.epd - B(N)+P
mes-443.epd - BN+P
mes-534.epd - R+P
mes-648.epd - RN+P
mes-794.epd - RB+P
mes-976.epd - RNB+P
mes1103.epd - QNB+P
mes1258.epd - QRNB+P

mesquest.epd
Questionable positions (I can't see solution, but have no proof about it). They
are included in tests, but not counted in results.

meseasy.epd
Too easy positions (every engine which have scored 40% or more can solve them in
20 seconds). Not included in tests.

mesbad.epd
Broken positions. Not included in test.
